What is coaching?
Coaching is a process that helps people overcome the things that are holding them back. With coaching, we look forward to where you want to be and work together to look where the blocks are and how to overcome these.
This may involve looking at past issues, but the primary focus is looking forward and defining the work needed to get you there.
What is the difference between coaching and counselling?
Counselling therapy provides a safe and confidential space for individuals to talk to a trained professional about issues and concerns. Your therapist will help you explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours so you can develop a better understanding of yourself and of others.
The main difference between coaching and counselling is that coaching is about forward motion, and helping you identify the work you need to do in-between session to help support the changes you want to make.
